Done in simple garter stitch.



The leg of the slipper: cast on 36-38-40 sts on double-pointed needle 6 mm with 1 strand of medium gray and 1 strand of gray mix. Knit ribbing according to the pattern 1 knit/1 purl for approximately 10 cm.



Foot and other parts: Now knit the first 9-11-11 stitches in the round, place the remaining 27-27-29 sts on a stitch holder. Continue to knit ribbing in the round adding 1 stitch on each side, resulting in 11-13-13 stitches in the round. When you have knitted in the round 7-8.5-10 cm, decrease by 1 stitch on each side again to 9-11-11 stitches. Then transfer the reserved part of the knitting from the holder to the needles and knit increasing by 12-14-16 stitches on each side from the center until reaching 60-66-72 stitches on the needle. Now measurements will be from this point. Place 1 marker in the center of the front part of the toe and 1 marker in the center of the back part of the heel. Continue to knit ribbing for 2 cm. Now finish knitting in stockinette stitch decreasing by knitting two knit stitches together on each side from the marker (a total of 4 stitches less in each round) and continue until the size is 3-3-4 cm and bind off the stitches. Sew the knitting from the bottom of the foot avoiding thick seams.

Loose transverse cuff: Cast on 15-17-17 sts on 6 mm needles with 1 strand of medium gray and 1 strand of gray mix. Knit as follows: 1st stitch in garter stitch, then * 1 knit, 1 purl *, repeat from * to *, finish with 1 knit and 1 garter stitch. When the piece measures 2 cm in length, bind off stitches for 2 buttonholes starting from the right side: 1 st in garter stitch, 1 knit, 1 purl, slip 1 st as for knitting a knit stitch, then knit the knit stitch and pull it through the slipped stitch, 1 yarn over, * 1 knit, 1 purl *, repeat from * to * until the last 5 stitches, which are knitted as follows: 1 yarn over, 2 knit together, 1 purl, 1 knit, 1 garter stitch. Continue to knit ribbing and garter stitch on each side until the length is: 36-37-38 cm. Bind off stitches: knit stitches with knit stitches, purl stitches with purl stitches. Sew on buttons or button snaps.

Fold the cuff down 2 cm towards the foot using buttons on the outer side of the slipper and sew the cuffs, from the inside in the hidden part, if necessary.
