Socks with knitting needles.

FOR THE KNITTING LOVERS' PIGGY BANK. Slippers on 2 needles. I provide a textual description; in principle, you can knit just by following it (it's convenient if you knit solid color slippers in garter stitch or multi-colored stripes). Cast on 69 stitches. We knit only with knit stitches (n - yarn over. Number - number of stitches.) Odd rows - knit rows, even rows - purl rows, unchanged. BUT! We need to knit a pattern, so I provide the same in a scheme: So, we cast on 69 stitches with the main yarn and immediately switch to the additional pattern yarn! That is, we knit row 1 with the additional yarn. We knit 2 rows, switch to the main color, and knit another 2 rows, and so on... If you are knitting with 3 colors, it's the same - 2 rows in the first color, 2 in the second, 2 in the third, and repeat with the first, second, third colors, it will turn out like this. After knitting 28 rows, we cut all the yarns. We move on to knitting the FOOT. For this, we need to transfer 50 stitches from the left needle to the right. We join the yarn, starting from stitch 51. Row 1 of the foot - knit 14 stitches, 2 together, turn. Row 2 - slip one (yarn in front), 13 stitches, 2 together purl, turn. Row 3 - slip one (yarn behind), 13 stitches, 2 together knit, turn. Repeat rows 2 and 3 until there are 7 stitches left on both the right and left needles. In total, there are 7+15+7= 29 stitches on the needles. We move on to knitting the HEEL. I'm writing how I do it; surely knitters have their own way :) - Slip one stitch, knit 12 stitches, 3 together knit, turn. Next row: slip 1, knit 11 stitches, 3 together purl, turn. Then: slip 1, knit 10 stitches, 3 together knit, *transfer 2 stitches from the right needle to the left, 3 together knit* - repeat 5 times WITHOUT TURNING the work, all on one side (thus, there are no stitches on the left needle, and 13 on the right). Now we turn, the right needle becomes the left one. Slip one stitch to the right needle (yarn in front), knit 4 stitches, 3 together purl, *transfer 2 stitches to the right needle, yarn in front, 3 together purl* - repeat the same 5 times WITHOUT TURNING the work! We should be left with one stitch. Now I simply insert a hook into this stitch and single crochet to close the back, and without cutting the yarn, I crochet the edge. Now we need to hide all the ends inside the slipper, and it's done!
