Slippers with knitting needleshttp://klubok.work/1/53/7668/Klubok

Description of Olga L.

The socks are knitted using garter stitch, starting from the heel.
In this case, the number of stitches cast on the needles equals double the height of the heel. A flat fabric is knitted until the beginning of the decreases on both sides. Decreases should start after knitting at least half the length of the foot. Decrease stitches from both sides to the required foot length until there are 5-8 stitches left on the needle (an approximate visual estimate). Do not cut the yarn. Next, the upper insert is knitted, starting with increasing stitches on both sides, to the number of stitches which, together with the knitted flat fabric, will equal the circumference of the leg at the base of the toes. Continue knitting the upper insert in a flat fabric until the desired length is reached. If necessary, at the end of knitting the insert, stitches can also be decreased from both sides if the foot rise is low. The finished fabric is folded in half and sewn along the heel line and the lines connecting the insert to the fabric on both sides.

Description of Lyuda P.

Cast on 40 stitches. And knit 25 rows in garter stitch (this means knitting back and forth with knit stitches, which is one row). Then decrease 1 stitch from each side in every even row until there are 10 stitches left on the needles. Knit 2 rows in garter stitch (4 knit rows back and forth). Then increase 5 times by one stitch from each side in every even row. Now knit 10 rows in garter stitch (this means 20 knit rows back and forth). Now decrease 1 stitch from each side in 3 even rows, and close the remaining stitches. That's it! Now sew the heel and the front. Edge with a crochet hook, which can make it fit tighter to the leg.
