Slippers Knitted with Needles, Description

 

Slippers are knitted with two threads of different colors. First, we knit the opening for the foot (it starts at the ankle level). For this, we cast on 49 stitches. We knit several rows in knit stitches. Usually, 3-5 rows are knitted this way. Knit stitches are also done in purl rows. Thus, the fabric is knitted in garter stitch. Next, we form the pattern by introducing a thread of another color. In the 1st row, we slip the first stitch, knit 1 stitch, slip the next one, and knit 5 stitches. We continue knitting in knit stitches until the 25th stitch. It becomes the middle stitch. From under this stitch, we knit 9 more stitches, alternating knit, yarn over, knit. 1. We slip the next, 26th stitch. 2. We knit the 27th stitch. We repeat the last two actions until the end of the row, slipping and knitting stitches. The first row is finished. In the second row, we slip the stitches knitted with the first thread. The stitches knitted with the other color are knitted. In rows 3 and 4, we take the first thread again and knit all rows in knit stitches. We repeat the first 4 rows 4 times. In the next stage, we knit stitches every other stitch (we slip the first one). The middle stitch is 29. We form 9 stitches from it just like last time. In the next purl row, we slip stitches every other stitch. We knit the next 2 rows with the same thread in knit stitches. Next, we need to form the sole. For this, place the rapport on the foot and count how many repetitions of the pattern will equal the length of the foot. The number of stitches in the sole must be odd. The sole is formed by turning. We calculate the number of stitches that should be in the sole. We knit the previous row in knit stitches up to these stitches. Then, we turn the knitting to the other side. Next, we only knit these stitches. At the end of the row, we knit the last stitch of the sole and the side together. We knit this way until the desired length. The heel is also formed by calculating stitches. It is left for last. The heel stitches are knitted together with the sole stitches. It is more convenient to knit the heel stitches with the side stitches using a hook.
