Knitted socks

Cast on a number of stitches equal to the length of the foot and knit 16 rows in garter stitch. Close part of the stitches, leaving 22 stitches. Continue knitting these in a 2x2 rib for 15 rows. Cast on a number of stitches equal to the ones previously closed and knit 16 rows in garter stitch. Close all stitches. Sew the seam by folding the knitted piece in half, on three sides. Crochet around the top of the slipper.
