Slippers with needleshttp://klubok.work/1/53/8102/Klubok

We knit with 2 needles, so it goes very quickly. Cast on 48 stitches, knit as high as you like. Top (cuff): The first 4 rows with purple yarn, then change yarn every 2 rows. Where there is pink - in the right side rows, slip 1 stitch (yarn behind the work), knit 2 stitches in pink, slip 1 stitch - alternate until the end of the row. Wrong side row - slip the slipped stitches again, but with the yarn in front of the work, knit where you knitted. In all rows, all stitches are knit. We proceed directly to the pattern. I have 3 colors in the pattern: white (a total of four rows for finishing), pink, and purple. But if you use the same pink instead of white, it looks just as beautiful. The pattern consists of yarns of two colors, alternating every 2 rows. All stitches are knit. The description continues after the white yarn. We knit 4 rows with dark yarn, in the third of them we make an increase for expanding the foot from the central 6 stitches to 12 (from 1 to 2), it can be from 8 to 16, depending on the size and thickness of the yarn. In these socks, I did from 6 to 12, while in the brown ones from 8 to 16. We will increase every 4th row 8 times. This is for size 38. Increases can also be made in the light rows, and the dark ones just knit - it doesn't matter. The stitches that we add are introduced into the pattern, while the central ones remain 6 (or 8). Row 5 (light yarn): slip the first stitch as usual. Slip the 2nd stitch as well (yarn BEHIND the work), knit the 3rd stitch, slip the 4th, knit the 5th, alternate. Knit six (if from 6 to 12) or eight (if from 8 to 16) central stitches with light yarn without alternating, consecutively. Then we switch back to alternating, just in a mirrored reflection. Row 6 (light yarn): knit all stitches, slip the slipped ones again, yarn IN FRONT of the work. Row 7 (dark yarn): knit all stitches, from the central 6 again to 12. Row 8 (dark yarn): all knit stitches and so on. We increased 8 times, having knitted 32 rows, the increases are finished. We got 96 stitches. We knit another 2 or 4 rows with dark yarn, then white for finishing (not necessary), again 2 rows with dark and calculate for the foot (I knitted for size 16): (96-16) / 2 gives us 40. Sole: Knit 40 stitches, then another 16, knit the 16th and 17th together as one stitch, turn the work, knit all stitches, knit the 16th and 17th together as a purl stitch, turn, and so on. You can knit the foot with the same pattern as the top of the foot, with two colors. This makes it thicker and warmer. Or you can start knitting the sole on the central 8 stitches. The first knit row - 8 stitches, the 2nd purl row 9 stitches, the 3rd knit row 10 stitches and so on until you have 16 stitches. Thus, the beginning of the foot is not square. Then knit the sole on 16 stitches as described above. I also always add nylon thread to the sole for strength. Heel: When there are 5 stitches left on the sides, we start decreasing the sole stitches for the heel, knitting 2 stitches together before the edge stitch of the sole - 1 time in the knit row, 1 time in the purl row - this for 3 times (i.e., 6 rows). Then 3 stitches together 2 times (another 4 rows). The stitches are closed, cut the thread so that it is enough to sew the back with a knit stitch.
