Dress Embrace of the Sun. Needles.

Sizes: S - M - L - XL - XXL - XXXL
You will need: DROPS MUSKAT yarn from Garnstudio 600-650-750-800-900-950 g color 07, light yellow; circular needles (60 and 80 cm) No. 4 mm; sock and circular needles No. 3.5 mm – for the pearl pattern.

Knitting gauge with 4 mm needles: 21 sts x 28 rows in stockinette stitch = 10 cm x 10 cm.
Knitting gauge with 3.5 mm needles: 22 sts x 30 rows in stockinette stitch = 10 cm x 10 cm.

Pearl pattern:
Row 1: * 1 knit, 1 purl *, repeat from *-* to the end of the row.
Row 2: knit the knit stitches as purl, purl the purl stitches as knit.
Repeat row 2.

Even increases:
To make even increases, divide the total number of stitches (for example, 121 sts) by the required number of increases (for example, 15) = 8.1.
In this example, make 1 yarn over after every 8th stitch, in the next row knit the yarn overs as twisted knit.

Pattern chart: see charts A.1-A.3.

Raglan:
Make increases for the raglan on each side of 4 markers at the border between the body and sleeves: before the marker, make 1 yarn over, 2 knit (the marker is in the middle of these 2 sts), 1 yarn over (= increase 2 sts). In the next row, knit the yarn overs as twisted knit.

Decreases on the body of the dress:
Before the marker, knit 2 together knit, 4 knit (the marker is in the middle of these 4 sts), slip 1 st as knit, 1 knit, place the slipped st on the knitted st (= 2 decreases).

Increases on the body of the dress:
Increase 1 st, lift the stitch from the previous row and knit a new stitch from it. When making increases after the 1st and 3rd markers, lift the stitch from the front loop after the marker; when making increases before the 2nd and 4th markers, lift the stitch from the back loop before the marker.

Work description:
The yoke and the main part of the dress are knitted in the round on circular needles from the top down: sleeves – in the round on sock and short circular needles.

Neckline:
Cast on 121-125-129-135-145-149 sts on short circular needles No. 3.5 mm and knit 1 row knit. Then knit 2 cm in pearl pattern. Knit 1 row knit, evenly increasing 15-19-23-17-15-19 sts = 136-144-152-152-160-168 sts. Switch to needles No. 4 mm and knit 1 row knit, then knit the yoke.

Yoke:
Knit in the round according to chart A.1 (= 17-18-19-19-20-21 repeats of 8 sts).
When you complete the full repeat of pattern A.1, you will have 204-216-228-228-240-252 sts, the height of the yoke is approx. 10-10-10-11-11-11 cm from the cast-on edge.
Place 4 raglan markers in the fabric without knitting the stitches: place the first marker after the first 31-32-34-36-39-43 sts (= ½ back), the second – after 40-44-46-42-42-40 sts (= sleeve), the third – after 62-64-68-72-78-86 sts (= front) and the fourth – after 40-44-46-42-42-40 sts (= sleeve). After the last marker, there should be 31-32-34-36-39-43 sts remaining (half back).
Knit in stockinette stitch, making raglan increases in the first row (= 8 increases in the row). Repeat the increases every 2nd row a total of 0-3-5-11-11-12 times, then – every 4th row 6-6-6-4-5-6 times. After the last raglan increase, you should have 252-288-316-348-368-396 sts. Knit 1 row knit, evenly increasing 4-4-0-0-4-0 sts = 256-292-316-348-372-396 sts.
Continue knitting until the height of the yoke is 19-21-23-25-27-29 cm from the cast-on edge.
In the next row: knit 38-42-45-51-56-61 sts in stockinette stitch (= ½ back), transfer the next 52-62-68-72-74-76 sts to a spare yarn for the sleeve, cast on 8-8-10-10-12-14 sts for the underarm, knit 76-84-90-102-112-122 sts in stockinette stitch (= front), transfer the next 52-62-68-72-74-76 sts to a spare yarn for the sleeve, cast on 8-8-10-10-12-14 sts for the underarm and knit the remaining 38-42-45-51-56-61 sts in stockinette stitch (= ½ back). Cut the yarn, and knit the main part of the dress and sleeves separately. Measure the length of the knitting from this point onward.

Main part:
= 168-184-200-224-248-272 sts. Place 1 marker at the beginning of the row and 1 – after 84-92-100-112-124-136 sts. (= side markers). Knit in stockinette stitch. After 2 cm from the point of separation with the sleeves, decrease 1 st on each side of the side markers (= 4 decreases in the row). Repeat decreases every 2 cm a total of 4 times = 152-168-184-208-232-256 sts. Remove all markers, except the marker at the beginning of the row.
After 15 cm, place 4 new markers: place the first marker after the first 15-18-21-26-31-36 sts, the second – after 46-48-50-52-54-56 sts, the third – after 30-36-42-52-62-72 sts and the fourth – after 46-48-50-52-54-56 sts. After the last marker, there should be 15-18-21-26-31-36 sts remaining.
In the next row, make increases after the first and third markers, and before the second and fourth markers (= 4 increases). Repeat increases every 4-5-3½-3½-3½-3½ cm a total of 7-6-8-8-8-8 times = 180-192-216-240-264-288 sts.
After 44-45-46-45-46-46 cm, begin knitting according to chart A.2 (= 15-16-18-20-22-24 repeats of 12 sts).
In each row with the arrow in chart A.2, shift the beginning of the row to the left, i.e., transfer the first 2 sts to the right needle without knitting, then knit according to chart A.2. Knit these 2 stitches in the last horizontal repeat of pattern A.2. In the next row, knit all stitches knit, then start knitting the row from the same place. When you complete the full repeat of pattern A.2, you will have 240-256-288-320-352-384 sts. Then knit according to chart A.3 (= 15-16-18-20-22-24 repeats of 16 sts). When you complete the full vertical repeat of pattern A.3, you will have 315-336-378-380-418-456 sts. Knit 1 row knit, evenly increasing 14-15-17-19-21-23 sts = 329-351-395-399-439-479 sts. Switch to needles No. 3.5 mm and knit 2 cm in pearl pattern. Bind off in pattern. The length of the dress from the shoulder line is approx. 87-90-93-96-99-101 cm.

Sleeves:
Transfer 52-62-68-72-74-76 sts from one spare yarn to sock needles No. 3.5 mm, lifting the cast-on 8-8-10-10-12-14 sts for the underarm = 60-70-78-82-86-90 sts. Knit 1 row knit, decreasing 1 st = 59-69-77-81-85-89 sts, then knit 2 cm in pearl pattern. Bind off in pattern.
