You can choose the necessary size of the top according to the data in table 1.

Necessary skills: knitting of knit and purl stitches; knitting in the round and flat rows; decreasing stitches.

Yarn: Any blended yarn, silk yarn, etc., with parameters of 100g/240-260m.

Yarn consumption: for sizes XS - 250g, for sizes S and M - 300g, for sizes L and XL - 350g.

Materials:

- circular needles  #3.5 (length 40cm) for finishing;

- circular needles #4 (length 80-100cm) for knitting the main fabric;

- markers – 6pcs;

- tapestry needle (for shoulder seams);

- measuring tape or ruler;

- scissors.

Knitting density:

The knitting density of stockinette stitch in the round, needle #4:

10cm – 21sts. 10cm - 28rows;

Knit a sample, wash it, and determine your knitting density.

To obtain the specified size in the description, your density must match the density in the description. If you do not match my density, use needles that are 0.5-1 size larger or smaller.

Be careful, as the density may change when knitting in the round, please monitor the density parameters during the knitting process.

Construction. The product is knitted in one piece, without seams, from bottom to top. First, the body is knitted in the round, then divided into the front and back and knitted separately in flat rows, then shoulder seams and finishing are done.

Abbreviations:

K - Knit stitch;

P - Purl stitch;

M1 - marker for the start of the row;

M1 and M4 - side markers;

M2, M3, M5, M6 - pattern markers;

L1  - increase left of the marker;

R1 – increase right of the marker.

Patterns: Stockinette stitch: in flat knitting in knit rows - knit stitches, in purl rows - purl stitches. In circular knitting – all stitches knit.

Central pattern of the front and back: The pattern repeat width - 27 stitches. The pattern repeat height - 52 rows.

In circular knitting, all knit rows are knitted exactly according to the pattern.

Let's start knitting the top.

Body. On circular needles #4, cast on 178/194/214/230/250 stitches + 1 stitch to join in the round. This number of stitches corresponds to sizes XS/S/M/L/XL.

Join knitting in the round (make sure the cast-on row is not twisted).

Turn the work with the purl side of the cast-on row facing you, so that the edge of the cast-on row from which the working yarn is coming is on the left. Transfer the last stitch from the right needle to the left, then pull the last stitch from the left needle through the slipped stitch. We have 1 stitch from 2. Return it back to the right needle. Mark the beginning of the round with a marker.

On the needles, there are 178/194/214/230/250 stitches corresponding to sizes XS/S/M/L/XL. Next, knit 2 rounds in garter stitch:

IMPORTANT.

1. The row of lace pattern in this round may be odd according to the pattern, i.e. knit.

2. After closing the stitches for the armholes, be sure to count the number of stockinette stitches from both sides of the lace pattern. The number of stitches must be equal.

So, we remove from needle M1 and transfer 3/3/4/6/7 stitches from the right needle to the left, unraveling them. Put M1 back on the needle, this is now our beginning of the row.

Then knit as follows:
