summer cotton blouse with a lace yoke

I used about 350 g of yarn for Pekhorka Pearl, color 63 Ice, 100 g, 425 m. I knitted in 2 strands, this amounts to 210 meters per 100 g. 50% cotton, 50% viscose. You can knit such a cardigan in any other yarn of similar yardage, possibly with a long sleeve.

The cardigan is sized for 46-48. The knitting calculations are based on 2.2 stitches per 1 cm and 3 rows per 1 cm in height.

Cardigan measurements: length 51 cm, shoulder width 140 cm, torso width 86 cm, sleeve width 32 cm, sleeve length from armhole 10 cm.

For knitting you will need: Needle sizes 2 circular 40 cm and 60 cm, needle sizes 4-3 circular 40 cm and 60 cm, tapestry needle, contrasting thread.

Cast on circular needles size 2, 40 cm cable. 121 stitches, 120 for knitting and 1 to join the knitting in the round.

Knit in ribbing: 1 twisted knit, 1 purl for 4 cm.

We move on to knitting the yoke, switch to needles size 3.

Knit the yoke according to the chart from row 1 to row 51, for a total of 15 repeats.

After all increases, there are 300 stitches on the needles and the yoke length after finishing the pattern is 20 cm.

Knit in stockinette stitch for another 4 cm and the total length of the yoke is 24 cm.

We proceed to knitting the neck shaping on the back. We knit German short rows according to the chart.

After knitting the neck shaping, divide the knitting into front, back and sleeves according to the chart.

We knit 86 stitches for the back from the start-of-row marker and slip 62 stitches of the sleeve onto a contrasting thread. We pick up 6 stitches for underarm openings and join the back to the front. We knit 90 stitches for the front, slip 62 stitches of the left sleeve, pick up 6 underarm stitches, joining the front to the back.

On the needles there are 188 stitches, we knit the torso in stockinette stitch to a height of 20 cm.

Then switch to size 2 needles and knit 5 cm in ribbing: 1 twisted knit, 1 purl.

Bind off stitches on the purl side, knitting two together as knit.

Sleeves. Transfer 62 stitches from the contrast thread to circular needles 3, 40 cm, and from the underarm pick up 8 more stitches, making 70 stitches on the needles. Join in the round and knit 3 rounds in knit, in rounds 3, 5, 7, 9 decrease by 1 stitch in the center of the underarms. There are 66 stitches on the needles. From the 11th row switch to needles size 2 and knit 5 cm in ribbing: 1 twisted knit, 1 purl.

Bind off stitches on the wrong side.

Second sleeve is knitted similarly.

Secure the yarn tails well on the wrong side. The cardigan is ready.
