Pattern Chart:

The chart indicates both knit and purl rows.

The pattern repeat is 16 stitches wide. (For the symmetry of the pattern, knit 8 stitches before the repeat and 9 stitches after the repeat). Repeat from row 1 to row 24 in height.

Legend for Charts:

EMPTY SQUARE - purl (in knit rows - purl, in purl rows - knit)

knit (in knit rows - knit, in purl rows - purl)

Knit two stitches together knitwise leaning right (Insert the needle into the 2nd stitch and the 1st stitch, starting from the second and knit them together.)

Knit two stitches together leaning left (Slip the first stitch as if to knit, knit the 2nd stitch and pull the slipped stitch over it)

Knit 3 stitches together knitwise, with the 2nd stitch in the center (Slip two stitches as if to knit without knitting, yarn in back, knit the 3rd stitch, insert the left needle into the slipped stitches, lift them over the knitted stitch and pull the stitch through)
