Pattern diagram:

The diagram indicates both the right and wrong rows.

The pattern repeat is 8 stitches.  Repeat from rows 1 to 12 in height.

Legend for the diagram:

EMPTY PINK SQUARE - NO STITCH

 -purl stitch ( purl in the right rows, knit in the wrong rows)

  knit  (knit in right rows, in wrong rows-  purl.)

Knit two stitches together knitwise with a right tilt ( Insert the needle into the 2nd stitch and the 1st stitch, starting from the second and knit them together.)

In wrong rows, the stitch with the same symbol should be knitted as 2 purl stitches together with a left tilt

Knit two stitches together with a left tilt (Slip the first stitch as if to knit, knit the 2nd stitch and pull the slipped stitch over it)

In wrong rows, the stitch with the same symbol should be knitted as 2 purl stitches together with a right tilt.
