Fringed edge with bobbles ????

Knit 1 row in purl stitches. Turn the work. Knit the edge stitch, then 1 knit stitch. Next, you need to start making the “bobbles.” To do this, knit into the next stitch [1 knit, 1 yarn over, 1 knit, 1 yarn over, 1 knit], so now there are 7 stitches on the right needle. On five of them – those that were knitted from one stitch of the previous row – the “bobble” will be made. Turn the work and knit *1 purl, 1 purl through the back loop*, repeat from * to * once more, knit 1 purl. The 5 bobble stitches have been used. Turn the work and knit these same 5 stitches knitwise. Turn the work again, and knit these 5 stitches purlwise. Turn the work once more and knit the stitches knitwise again. Now skip the second stitch on the right needle over the first, and then repeat this until there is only one stitch left instead of five, so there will only be 3 stitches left on the right needle. Knit the stitches that separate one “bobble” from another (in our case, that’s 3 stitches). Repeat steps 4-10 until there are 3 stitches left on the left needle. Make the last “bobble” as you did the previous ones, but after it, knit 1 knit and 1 edge stitch. Turn the work and knit a row of purl stitches.
