Yoke pattern knitted with needles

🔸 How to knit the symbols:

• Yarn over (O): make a yarn over (wrap the yarn around the right needle).

• 2 together right (/): knit 2 stitches together through the front loop.

• 2 together left (\): slip the first stitch, knit the second stitch, pull the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch.

• 3 together (∇): knit three stitches together (usually the central stitch comes out on top — you can make it central by slipping two, knitting the third, and pulling the slipped stitches over).

🔹 Structure of the chart:

• Reading: the chart is read from bottom to top.

• Odd rows — knit, read from right to left.

• Even rows (not drawn) — usually knit according to the pattern, i.e., as the stitches look, and yarn overs — as purl stitches.
