Author's description This description is found in all knitting groups.. Turkish shawl ,,grape.. Just need to make changes to the pattern. If you knit strictly according to the pattern, it turns out ugly
This shawl is the original from a Turkish magazine. I can't find anywhere what yarn it was knitted from.. so everyone knits from whatever they have and it turns out not even close to that....
Here is this pattern.. I put the numbers on the pattern... this is how I knitted so many chains
In addition to the fact that I knitted many more chains, I also knitted the berries from 7 double crochets.. (or even 8 depending on what yarn). And the stitches for the berries need to be pulled longer.. so that they are large. And also.. I knitted the sides of the shawl with double crochets. and made 5 stitches for the rise. Then I attached tassels to them. This shawl in the photo, I knitted chain stitches between the ,,clusters,, with 9.... and another one I made with 15. (as in the pattern). I liked it more this way.. otherwise the shawl expands very slowly upwards and ends up very long, to the floor.. but not very wide on the shoulders.. I have to knit it long.. so that it reaches the wrists on the shoulders.. (I like it that way!) and the tail at the back ended up on the floor.. not pretty. but I knitted a new shawl with 15 chain stitches between the clusters and it turned out wider.. and shorter.. the first shawl took 5 skeins of 100 grams.. the shawl is heavy and very large.. and for this one only 3 skeins.. Now I will only knit like this.. (as in the pattern). The yarn was recommended to me by a girl, whose very beautiful shawl I saw.. I haven't seen such a beautiful one from anyone else. Alize shawl simli (Sal simli ) in 100 grams 460 meters (with lurex)
Here is my new shawl.. where there are 15 stitches.. you can see well that the clusters are further apart from each other
I edged it with several rows of single crochet and crab stitch..
this is the shawl. which I liked very much.. I have only seen such beautiful ones with two girls.. the others are just terrible! Abramovich Svetlana.
the grape vine shawl.. knitted by Marina Metalnikova.
And here are some more shawls.. from groups
Here is my first.. where there are 9 stitches between the clusters
It turned out to be this huge one. I wanted it to reach the wrists on the shoulders.. and the second one I knitted to the elbow bend.. that's fine. But it took half as much yarn.
