We cast on 4 chains, then crochet into the 4th chain from the hook with 12, 14, or 16 stitches, depending on the thickness of the yarn and how many wedges we want.

We make increases in the standard way for circular knitting: in the second row, two double crochets in each stitch; in the third row, every other stitch; in the fourth row, every two, and so on. This way, we get wedges. I am crocheting with SOCO yarn, and in the 7th row, I make holes. For this, in each stitch where an increase is planned, instead of 2 double crochets, I crochet 1 double crochet and 2 chains.
Depending on the thickness of the yarn and your size of the future swimsuit, the dense circle without holes can be increased or decreased. You can also crochet as many rows with holes as you deem necessary.

Next, we continue crocheting with holes, crocheting 2 double crochets into the first chain from the previous row and shifting the wedges by one stitch at the beginning of each row!

This is the circle we've made. This is the bottom. Next, we start crocheting the center. For this, we form a smooth row of stitches of different sizes.
