Knitted flower

 

"Sunny" petals are framed by voluminous petals in fresh green shades. In the center - a wooden bead of coral color.

 

For knitting, you will need cotton yarn in a light green color (400 m / 100 g) and melange "Iris" for finishing, in yellow, green, and pink tones. Also - 2 hooks, 1.3 mm and 1 mm, and a bead.

 

 

 

 

The flower consists of two parts - petals and a base. We knit everything according to the diagrams.

 

 

First, we knit the base of the flower with a 1.3 mm hook. It consists of a small circle and two rows of arches made of chain stitches (see diagram). The arches of the upper row are knitted using the front loops of the previous row's stitches, and the arches of the lower row are knitted using the back loops. 

Then we finish the arches. The diagrams for the small and large petals are shown separately. 

 

 

We finish the petals of the upper row with a 1 mm hook. First, with pink melange yarn. Then - with yellow. After that, we finish the petals of the lower row with green melange yarn. 

 

 

Hide and trim all threads. Now the flower needs to be carefully and thoroughly smoothed and steamed with an iron on both sides. Glue the bead in the center.

 

 

We knit the base. Leave a longer thread. 

 

 

Sew the base to the back side of the flower. Use the remaining thread. Inside, place a little cotton for volume. Without cutting the threads, sew on the elastic band.

 

A new flower is ready!
