It is very easy to crochet a two-layer butterfly according to this tutorial. So, dear needlewomen, shall we begin?
1. Crochet a chain of 5 air stitches and join it into a ring.
2. Raise 3 air stitches (AS), 1 double crochet (DC), 2 AS, 2 DC. And 7 times {2 DC, 2 AS}.
3. Raise 3 air stitches (AS), 2 DC, 3 AS, 3 DC. And 7 times {3 DC, 3 AS, 3 DC}.
4. Change color. Crochet under the chains of 3 air stitches from the previous row 3 AS, 5 DC, 1 AS, 6 DC, between the "petals" 1 single crochet (SC). And 7 times {6 DC, 1 AS, 6 DC, 1 SC}.
5. Change color back. Crochet the edging: 1 slip stitch (SS), 1 AS — in each stitch of the previous row.
6. Fold the resulting flower in half, crochet separately the body and antennae (20 AS, 10 SS, 10 AS, 10 SS, 10 SS). Sew them to the butterfly.
