Sweater "Heavenly Patterns"http://klubok.work/2/41/8903/Klubok

Sweater

Size: S–M

You will need:

  • Yarn (50% wool, 50% acrylic, 500 m / 100 g) — 500 g sky blue color

  • Hook No. 2.5

  • Needles No. 2.5

Description:

The pullover consists of separately knitted motifs that are sewn together.

  • The width of the hexagonal motif12 cm.

The size of the pullover can vary.
If using thinner yarn and a corresponding hook — the size will decrease.
You can also adjust the size by adding a row of double crochets or single crochets.

How many and what motifs to knit:

  1. Knit the required number of hexagonal motifs according to diagrams 1, 2, and 3 (see the pattern).

  2. Then:

    • 4 half-motifs according to diagram 4 (for the neckline),

    • 4 pentagonal motifs according to diagram 5,

    • 4 pentagonal motifs according to diagram 6 (to align the bottom of the sleeves).

Attention:
Pentagonal motifs will be not flat, but slightly bulging, like a cup — this is necessary for the sleeves to taper at the cuffs.

 Final step:

Sew all the motifs together according to the pattern diagram.

Edging and finishing the pullover

The lower edge of the pullover and sleeves
should be edged, alternating double crochets (dc) and chains
so that later you can thread a lace.

 Cuffs:

Knit cuffs of the required size for the sleeves and the bottom of the pullover
using needles in a 2×2 ribbing (2 knit, 2 purl).

If you do not know how to or do not like knitting with needles — you can make the ribbing with a hook.
Then sew the ribbing to the pullover.

 Laces and pom-poms:

For decorating the bottom and upper edge of the pullover:

  1. Knit laceschains of air stitches.

  2. Thread them through the edging.

For pom-poms:

  • According to diagram 7, knit 4 pom-poms.

  • In row 5: 8 double crochets (8 dc), leaving the last stitch on the hook.

  • Stuff the pom-pom with filler (for example, synthetic padding or yarn leftovers).

  • Pull all the stitches tight to form a round pom-pom.

  • Attach the pom-pom to the lace.
