Important!
Before starting, make a full-size pattern of the dress, based on your measurements.

-
8 strips — from shoulder to the bottom of the dress
-
4 strips — from the lower edge to the bottom of the dress
-
4 strips — from the lower edge to the cut at the bottom of the dress
-
Note: the dress is calculated without taking the ruffle into account.
-
Knit another 2 strips according to scheme 2 — these are the central panels of the front and back.
Assembly of the base:
-
Tuck in the tails.
-
Steam the strips and lay them out according to the pattern, checking against drawing 1.
-
Sew them together, starting from the center.
Note: The strips should be extended downwards at the sides — add wedges.
Wedges:
-
Knit according to the wedge scheme (fig. 2):
-
1st element – with two puff stitches
-
2nd – with three puffs
-
3rd – with four puffs
-
-
Sew 1 wedge between every two side strips.
-
Make shoulder seams.
Sleeves:
Right sleeve:
-
Width: 38 cm
-
Knit 7 strips:
-
6 strips with two rows of elements
-
1 strip with one row of elements
-
-
Lay out according to drawing 3.
Note: for a looser sleeve shape, you can insert a wedge according to drawing 4.
-
Sew the sleeve into the armhole between the strips of the dress.
Left sleeve:
-
Knit similarly to the right one.
Final assembly:
-
Sew the sleeves into the armholes.
-
Steam the product.
-
Sew the sleeves to the base of the dress at the junction of the strips.
-
If desired, add a border at the bottom of the dress according to scheme 3.
-
Width of the border — at your discretion.
