Sew on the eyes, referring to the photo. I think it's necessary to add a little stuffing when sewing on.
Embroider the mouth with black yarn. For this, you can use a backstitch (from embroidery). That is, thread the yarn from one end to the other. Take another yarn with a thin (thread) yarn and make several cross stitches over the main yarn, securing it.
Sew the legs on each side of the body. The distance between the legs is about 2 cm. I would recommend first pinning the legs and aligning the balance of the toy before sewing the legs.
Twist the chameleon's tail a little and secure it with several stitches and sew it to the body.
Sew the crest along the entire length of the body.
