Mushroom pincushions.http://klubok.work/2/46/7517/Klubok
On gloomy winter days, such a pincushion will remind you (or whoever you gift it to) of the sunshine, the forest, the smell of forest floor and mushrooms. Moreover, it is quite a useful item on the table of every craftswoman. Check out its detailed master class on creating such a cute wonder! Materials: a tin, screw-on lid for canning (base of the pincushion); green yarn; yarn in various colors for mushrooms; thin yarn for leaves and flowers (cotton works best - "Iris", "daisy", "coco", "rose", etc.); beads (for the center of the flowers); stuffing; a scrap of fabric. It’s better to take medium-density fabric, in green or neutral colors (I used linen); monofilament or thin threads matching the yarn; PVA glue; universal glue wire (I used "Moment Crystal"). Optional: acrylic paints; black acrylic outline; snail shell; two beads for the snail's eyes; varnish. Tools: crochet hooks; sewing needle; beading needle; scissors; brushes for glue, paint, varnish. Terms and abbreviations in the text: increase - two stitches in one loop; decrease - two loops knitted together; sc - single crochet. The base of the pincushion and details of the mushrooms are knitted in a spiral (without turning chains). How to knit the pincushion base was discussed in the first part of the master class. For these pincushions, the base is knitted the same way. Only the leaves and flowers are sewn on after the base is completely ready. If you find it difficult to knit small details from thin yarn, you can also decorate the pincushion as you did with the aspen mushrooms - embroider flowers and branches. Pincushion "Fly Agarics" I knitted the fly agarics from Alize baby wool yarn (175 m/50 g, 40% wool, 40% acrylic, 40% bamboo). Large fly agaric 1) Cap Row 1: 6 sc in a magic ring; Rows 2-5: 6 increases in each row = 30 sc; Rows 6-9: 5 increases in each row = 50 sc; Rows 10-12: 50 sc. 2) Stem with collar Row 1: 6 sc in a magic ring; Rows 2-4: 6 increases in each row = 24 sc; Rows 5-8: 24 sc; Rows 9-10: 2 decreases in each row = 20 sc; Row 11: 20 sc; Rows 12-13: 2 decreases in each row = 16 sc; Rows 14-16: 16 sc; Row 17: In the front (visible) half-loops, we knit the collar (photo a, front half-loops are marked in pink). We knit 2 double crochets in each half-loop. We close it with a slip stitch. Cut the thread and hide the "tail" in the thickness of the fabric. The collar is ready (photo b). We join the yarn and knit 16 sc in the back (invisible) half-loops (in photo a, b, the back half-loops are marked in green). Next, we knit through both half-loops. Rows 18-19: 1 decrease in each row = 14 sc. If you want the bottom part of the cap to be more clearly separated from the stem, knit the first row with increases, in the front half-loops (in our case this is row 20). Then knit as usual, through both half-loops. Rows 20-24: 6 increases in each row = 45 sc; Row 25: 5 increases = 50 sc; The stem is ready (photo c) We assemble the fly agaric similarly to how we assembled the large aspen mushroom (photo d). 1) Cap Row 1: 6 sc in a magic ring; Rows 2-4: 6 increases in each row = 24 sc; Rows 5-8: 24 sc; Row 9: 4 decreases = 20 sc. 2) Stem Row 1: 6 sc in a magic ring; Rows 2-3: 6 increases in each row = 18 sc; Row 4: 2 increases = 20 sc; Row 5: 20 sc; Rows 6-7: 2 decreases in each row = 16 sc; Rows 8-9: 16 sc. We assemble the small fly agaric as we did with the small aspen mushroom. We embroider spots. The mushrooms are ready! Flowers, branches, leaves The simplest flower can be knitted according to the scheme shown in the picture below. If you want a larger flower, instead of two turning chains, knit three chains, and for the petals, knit double crochets instead of single. An even larger flower can be achieved by knitting four turning chains, and for the petals, you will knit triple crochets. Leaves are also very easy to knit. If you want to make a larger leaf, increase the number of chains in the starting chain and accordingly the number of double crochets in the middle of the leaf. The diagram shows a fragment of a branch. You can knit the branch to the length you need, simply adding the required number of leaves. You can also decrease or increase the distance between the leaves by knitting more chains between them.
