HOW TO CROCHET A LACE PATTERN
A beautiful lace pattern for crocheting a pareo, shawl, scarf, or perhaps it will inspire you to knit a beautiful dress or sundress. This pattern is distinguished by an unusual technique of crocheting under the arches of the single crochet stitches, forming voluminous rolls. For a fine and clear pattern, mercerized cotton yarn with a slight sheen works well. Start crocheting by making a chain of air stitches, keeping in mind that the pattern repeat in width consists of 12 stitches. The height repeat of the pattern consists of two rows. So, after chaining the necessary length, we crochet the first row: *an arch of 12 air stitches, make a single crochet in the first stitch of the arch and crochet it with 16 single crochets, forming a voluminous roll, then crochet an arch of 13 air stitches and secure it with a single crochet through 12 stitches of the initial chain, repeat from * to the end of the chain. In the second row, we crochet around the obtained rolls according to the scheme. After completing the second row, transition with slip stitches to the top of the lace roll and continue crocheting the pattern by repeating the 1st row.
