This was my version that I knitted.
The pattern for the wing to the yoke:

Between the double crochet, replace the picot with 1 chain stitch!
And, in my opinion, in rows 3 we knit 8 double crochets in the arch, and in rows 4 and 5 we need 10 or 11 double crochets!
