SHOES FOR LITTLE PRINCESSES

Booties are an essential item of clothing for a little person, allowing the knitter to unleash their imagination in decorative elements. Booties are knitted faster and easier with a hook than with needles. Crocheting booties is divided into 2 parts - the sole and the top. Beginners knitting booties with a hook should start with the sole. 

The beginning of the knitting is marked with a red dot. First, you need to crochet 15 chain stitches and one for lifting. Then, half double crochets, single crochets, and double crochets are made. The last row of the sole is finished with a row of 60 half double crochets.

Knitting the upper part of the booties is the most exciting work.
In this diagram, the beginning of the booties is marked with a red dot. The top of the booties is knitted from the ankles to the sole. Then, single crochets are made. In the middle of the top, stitches are added to widen the toe on both sides of the center. The knitting ends with 60 stitches, equal to the perimeter of the sole. The top of the booties is decorated with a border of double crochets and chain stitches. 

These booties (see the diagram) are knitted from 4 squares. The squares are knitted separately and then joined together like when knitting shawls. 

When knitting lace booties, the sole of the booties is first edged with lace from contrasting yarn, and then the upper part of the booties is continued without decreases and increases. In the 3rd row, you need to decrease 2 stitches on both sides of the front part in each row. The top of the toe should be positioned at a 90-degree angle to the sides of the booties.
