While knitting, you can use it or rely on the baby's measurements - photo 2 PATTERNS USED - 1/1 rib - 2/2 rib - garter stitch - pattern "complex braid" - photo 3 I started knitting from the legs. I knitted the cuffs in the round with 1/1 rib using smaller needles. Cuff height - 9 cm. I switched to the main pattern. Needles # 4. After knitting one leg to the required height, I set it aside. The second leg is knitted in a mirror image - photo 4 I joined the pieces, adding stitches according to the pattern - photo 5. I did not knit a gusset, added stitches for expansion. Increases are marked with dots on the diagram. Then I knitted according to the pattern up to the armpits. On one of the strips, I made buttonholes - photo 6 In the lower back area, instead of garter stitch, I used 2/2 rib between the braids - photo 7 Sleeves. I knitted the cuffs with smaller needles in 1/1 rib in the round. The main fabric - garter stitch. Upon reaching the required height, I set aside the stitches for the underarms and began to knit the raglan. Decreases in every right-side row - photo 8. Both sleeves are knitted the same way. I divided the stitches of the main fabric into parts - front, back, front. It should be noted that the "braid" pulls the fabric. I set aside the stitches for the underarms. Each part was knitted separately, making decreases in the right-side rows. Assembly of the pieces. We unite all pieces on one needle according to the scheme - front, sleeve, back, sleeve, front. In the first row, I made decreases for the neckline at the level of the sleeves and the back. I knitted one more row. Hood. I added stitches for expansion, according to the scheme. I knitted straight in garter stitch to the required height - photo 9. I closed the stitches using the middle section - photo 10 I sewed the raglan, underarms. I made seams on the sleeves and legs. I hid all the yarn "tails". I sewed on buttons. I made pom-poms and attached them to the hood. Wet blocking according to the recommendations on the yarn label.
