I really love things with watermelon patterns. My daughter already wears watermelon outfits, sundresses, shorts, swimsuits — and I still want more. When I see knitted items online — my heart skips a beat. I'm sharing.

The cardigan was found on Ravelry. I translated the free description.
A summer cardigan with short sleeves. It is knitted from top to bottom as one piece without seams. The holes from the yarn overs on the round yoke resemble watermelon seeds. The simple neckline, the bottom of the yoke, the bottom of the cardigan, and the bands are knitted in garter stitch. The main pattern is stockinette stitch (plain knit).

Start knitting with pink or red yarn. Cast on 59 stitches to form the neckline.
