Words of the author Raisa V- At first, I crocheted the SBN with pink color - I knitted the outer edge of the shelves a little looser, the inner one tighter.
The middle 7 stitches on the shelves - alternating: 6 rows of stockinette stitch, then 6 rows of purl stitch (garter stitch at the edges), and the pattern turns out to be like a "accordion". Secondly, when crocheting the SСН along the outer edge, I cast on more stitches - 2 SСН from every 2nd stitch (I tried from each one - it was too thick and frequent, I didn't like it) - that's how the outer edge of the shelf becomes longer, with a curve!
