Knitting for girls of a charming seamless bolero in no time from a small amount of yarn with a fun and light textured pattern.

A small cardigan and textured patterns made Lisa think of the ballet jump "entrechat," where the legs cross each other in the air, and she created this delightful design of a bolero for a girl.

The bolero is made completely seamless from top to bottom to the armholes. Then, stitches are closed for the small wing sleeves, and stitches are picked up along the front raglans for the front pieces, which are joined together with the back stitches, and the knitting of the main part of the bolero continues down, forming the body as a single piece.

Sizes of the bolero:

0-3 months (3-6 months, 6-12 months, 12-18 months // 2-3 years, 3-4 years, 4-5 years, 5-6 years). The photo shows the size 12-18 months.

For the girl's chest circumference: 40.5 (43, 46, 48 // 56, 58, 61, 63.5) cm.

Bolero width size at the back: 23 (25, 27, 29 // 30.5, 31.5, 34, 36) cm.

When choosing a size for the girl, refer to the width sizes of her back, and choose the corresponding bolero size, as you can opt for a more fitted or loose size at your discretion.

1 (1, 1, 1 // 1.5, 1.5, 1.5, 1.75) skein of Malabrigo Merino Worsted yarn [100% merino wool; 192 m in 100 g] or approximately 114 (137, 160, 183 // 206, 229, 274, 320) m of medium weight yarn (in imported yarn with Aran or Heavy worsted thickness).

Circular needles size 5 mm. The knitted bolero is not worked in the round, but circular needles are needed for the stitches to easily sit on the needles, which significantly eases the work.

2 stitch markers tapestry needle

1 button with a diameter of 1.5 cm

Knitting gauge:

18 sts x 28 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch.

During the knitting of the bolero, increases of twisted stitches from the yarn between 2 stitches and a chain of air stitches are used.
