Yarn Semenovskaya Lidia (50% wool, 50% acrylic, 1613m/100g) in 4 threads (3 black and 1 dark blue). Needles 2. Yarn consumption 140g.
Size (volume) top 52 cm, bottom 140 cm. Length of the skirt 32 cm.
Pattern - garter stitch pleats.


HOW I KNIT.

I knitted from the top.
I cast on 182 stitches (gauge 34.3 stitches in 10 cm) - 15 wedges of 12 stitches + 2 edge stitches.
I knitted the waistband in stockinette stitch for about 4-5 cm (then fold, sew, and insert an elastic band).
Then I switched to knitting the wedges.
Wedge - 1 purl (purl ridge), 5 knit, 1 knit (knit ridge), 5 knit.
5 knit stitches will be knit as knit stitches on both the right and wrong sides - garter stitch. But you need to knit the ridges carefully, don’t mix them up. Otherwise, the pleats won’t turn out.

I increased in garter stitch around the central knit stitch (ridge) - first on one side of the ridge, then on the other, so that the increases weren’t too abrupt. I increased from 1 stitch to 2 - first knit in the front loop, then knit in the back loop. Such increases approximately every 3 cm.
When there were 11 stitches in garter stitch (half of the wedge), I started knitting 2 small wedges - the pleats became smaller, but there were more of them.
I increased the same way as before.
I closed the bottom with a hook.
