For the sole, cast on 45 stitches on needles No. 2.5 and knit 12 rows in garter stitch, increasing on both outer edges every 6 rows for rounding the sole, as well as on both sides of the middle stitch, 1 stitch, then repeat the increases every 2 rows 2 more times = 57 stitches. Then knit 6 rows in stockinette stitch between the edges. Now knit 12 rows in garter stitch. For the front part, bind off 24 stitches on both sides and knit 16 rows in garter stitch on the middle 9 stitches, knitting the last stitch together with the next bound-off stitch from both sides every 2 rows. Then knit 2 rows in garter stitch on all stitches and 32 rows of ribbing, increasing 1 stitch in 1 row. Make the seams.
