The cap is knitted from the top. Stitches are cast on for the leaf. The leaf pattern is provided. The reverse side is knitted according to the pattern. The empty spaces shaded in pink on the pattern mean there are no stitches there. First, you cast on "leaves," which means - 36 stitches, don't forget about 12 yarn overs.
