You will need:

yarn Teetee Alpakka (100% alpaca, 166m/50g) – 100/100/150/150 grams;
needles No. 4.
Gauge: 22 sts = 10 cm stockinette stitch.

Initially, the hat is knitted in the form of a rectangle in a transverse direction, then the upper edge is shaped into a crown, and the lower edge is finished with a ribbing.

Using needles No. 4, cast on 36/40/44/48 sts and knit a rectangle 186/194/202/210 rows long in garter stitch (or until the height of the hat is approximately 42/46/50/54 cm). Bind off all stitches. Sew the cast-on and last rows together.

Along the lower edge, pick up 92/96/100/104 sts with circular needles and knit ribbing *2 knit, 2 purl* for 5-6 cm.

Next, along the top of the hat, pick up 92/96/100/104 sts and knit in stockinette stitch. In the next row, knit all sts together 2 at a time (=46/48/50/52 sts).

Then repeat the same decreases 2 more times every 2nd row.

Draw the remaining stitches together and securely fasten the tip.
