Knit in the round for 4 rounds with a 2x2 rib (knit 2, purl 2). Then move the last 6 stitches (2 purl, 2 knit, 2 purl) to a pin/additional needle/ or similar. Start knitting in turning rows. Row 1: 6 knit, (p2, k2) 11 times, p2, knit 6, 2nd and 3rd rows according to the chart (i.e., knit knits, purl purls) 4 rows. Row 4: 8 knit, (p2, k2) 10 times, p2, 8 knit.
