On the advice of a speech therapist: 4 exercises for children http://klubok.work/24/208/8536/Klubok

Sometimes a child speaks all the sounds clearly and perfectly. Then you are very lucky!

But sometimes practice is required before the little one can pronounce words and sentences correctly and clearly. Everyone knows that speech exercises will help with this.

It is best to practice articulation exercises with your child every day. It is recommended to do this in front of a mirror, but since we don't have a convenient one, we just look at each other and repeat. The exercises take only about 10 minutes, but they really help the child speak correctly. The main thing is to do it together with children - this way they are much more willing to participate!

Today we will talk about the exercises that the speech therapist recommends for developing speech breathing. This helps to speak loudly, clearly, and understandably.

As always, I tried to film Katya to show the exercises visually:)

"Snowballs"

Take a cotton pad or a piece of cotton - this will be our snowflake. Now ask the child to imitate the wind: they need to blow softly so that the snowflake spins beautifully and doesn't fall for a long time.

In this exercise, it is important to learn to exhale not all the air at once, but to blow softly and for a long time with slightly open lips. By the way, similar exercises are also done in vocal training (we were told to blow on a candle so that its flame flickered but didn't go out).

"Blow it off if you can"

To master the pronunciation of the most challenging hissing and whistling sounds, you need to prepare not only the tongue but also the breath. This somewhat funny exercise will help with that.

Take a quarter/half of a cotton pad and place it on your nose. Now stick out your wide tongue, lift it slightly, and blow so that you can blow the pad off your nose.

Usually, children don't get this right away! For example, Katya still can't do it. The main thing is to ensure that the tongue remains wide and slightly raised.

"Hot for the dog"

Do you remember how dogs breathe quickly in hot weather? Try it too!

Stick out your wide tongue, open your mouth slightly, and breathe quickly. Take a break and breathe like that again.

"Warming hands"

Ask the child to imagine that they are very cold and their hands have frozen. Bring your cupped hands to your lips. Open your mouth about the width of the letter "O," and exhale sharply and often. Try to breathe so that the sound of breathing can be heard.

Especially relevant in Krasnodar at +35 :) My photo
