  • For the dough:
    3 eggs

    3 tablespoons of honey
    1 teaspoon of baking soda, extinguished with vinegar
    4 cups of flour

    For the cream:
    300 g of prunes
    1 cup of nuts
    300 g of butter
    1 cup of sugar
    700 g of sour cream

    To prepare the dough, you need to beat the eggs with sugar, add softened butter, melted honey, baking soda, extinguished with vinegar, and sifted flour. Knead a soft dough. Divide it into 10 pieces and roll out the layers, adding flour. To transfer the rolled layer onto the baking sheet, sprinkle it with flour and carefully roll it onto the rolling pin. Bake 10 layers. To prepare the cream, beat the softened butter with half of the sugar. Soak the prunes in boiling water and pass them through a meat grinder along with the nuts. Mix the butter mixture with the nuts and prunes. Then whip the sour cream with the remaining sugar and mix it with the butter mixture. Spread this cream between the layers, sprinkle the edges of the cake and the top with crumbs made from the leftover dough and nuts. Place in the refrigerator overnight.
