DOUGH
3 eggs, 1 cup of sugar, 1 tablespoon heaping of baking soda, 200 g sour cream, 150 g (~1/2 cup) honey, 2 cups of flour, 1/2 cup of walnuts
CREAM
500 ml of heavy cream, 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
Beat the eggs with sugar and baking soda. Mix in the sour cream and honey.
If the honey has crystallized, it should be melted in a water bath or in the microwave and cooled.
Add the flour and roughly chopped nuts; stir.
Pour the dough into the mold and bake the cake. If the mold is smaller than 26 cm in diameter, then bake two cakes.
Baking temperature t=220°C.
Check readiness by piercing the cake with a wooden stick. If there is no raw dough left on the stick - the cake is ready.
If the top of the cake starts to brown, while the inside is still raw, cover the mold with foil.
Cool the cake (or cakes), cut into two parts and spread with creamy frosting made with sweetened condensed milk. For the cream - whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Gradually add the condensed milk, whipping the cream each time.
