- for the dough:
- Flour 350-500 g
- Sugar 200 g
- Butter 100 g
- Honey 2 tbsp
- Egg 2 pcs
- Baking soda 1 tsp
- for the cream:
- Sour cream 500 g
- Sugar 150 g
How to make "Medovik" cake with sour cream

- On the back of the baking sheet (or on parchment paper), roll out each ball as thin as possible. Place a plate on top and cut around it. Prick the dough with a fork.

- Bake the layer at 200 degrees for 5 minutes. Trim the edges and immediately remove the ready hot layer from the baking sheet.
- For the cream, use the thickest sour cream. Whip with sugar using a mixer. Whip until the sugar is completely dissolved.

- Place the first layer on a plate. Evenly spread 2-3 tablespoons of sour cream on it. Optionally, add nuts or prunes.

- Cover with the second layer and stack the entire cake in a similar manner. Leave a couple of tablespoons of cream for coating the sides of the cake.

- Do not coat the last layer with cream; shape the cake a bit with your hands. You can place a small weight on top.
