Ingredients

? 150 grams of butter

? 160 grams of sugar

? vanillin

? a pinch of salt

? 2 large eggs

? 3 tablespoons of honey

? a teaspoon heaped with baking soda

? 700 grams of store-bought sour cream

? 1.5-2 cups of flour - adjust for thickness so that the dough is like thick sour cream

? 200 grams of sugar

Cream:

? vanillin

? 2 packets of thickener

? prunes and nuts - optional

Honey Cake Recipe

Place honey with baking soda on low heat until a fluffy foam appears, it should not boil.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs + sugar + salt + vanillin — set aside.

Add butter to the honey and mix until dissolved.

Combine the honey mixture and the egg mixture until smooth and pour into the flour.

The dough should be like thick sour cream.

Place the dough into a pan lined with parchment paper or greased and dusted with flour.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25-30 minutes.

If the top darkens quickly, cover it with parchment.

Check readiness with a dry skewer.

Let it cool and, using a thread, cut it into 5-6 layers.

Whip the sour cream with sugar and vanillin, gradually adding the thickener.

Set aside a small portion of the cream for spreading on the sides and top.

To the larger portion, add chopped smoked prunes and spread it on the layers.

Crush the top of the cake into crumbs. Sprinkle each layer with crushed walnuts on top of the cream.

When the cake is assembled, spread the cream we set aside on the top and sides of the cake.

Sprinkle crumbs on the sides and top, and decorate the top with prunes and nuts.

Let the cake sit and enjoy a very aromatic, tender, and juicy cake.
