Marinated capelin. A reliable recipe!
Ingredients: 500 g of capelin, 350 ml of water, 2 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of sugar, 3 bay leaves,
3 cloves, 10 black peppercorns, 3 tsp of mustard seeds, 3 tsp of 9% vinegar.
Prepare the marinade: bring the water to a boil, add all the ingredients, boil
for 5 minutes, cool to room temperature. Sort the fish and rinse. Transfer to
a deep container. Pour in the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for 12 hours.
Stir the contents and leave for another day. After a day, the fish
is ready.
