"Button" cookies - Kids will be delighted!!!

Fragrant shortbread cookies, and they are very cute too! If you don’t mind rolling the dough thinly, you will get about 100 of these little cookies.

     

Ingredients:
- 150g butter
- 1 pack of vanilla sugar
- 70g powdered sugar
- 1 yolk
- 230g flour
- 1 tbsp cocoa
- a few drops of almond essence


Method of preparation:
preheat the oven to 200°C. Mix the sifted flour, vanilla sugar, and powdered sugar. Add the butter cut into cubes.
Rub with your hands into crumbs. Then add the yolk and essence, knead well, divide the dough in half and add cocoa to one part. Roll the dough into two balls, wrap them in plastic wrap and put them in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface to a thickness of about 3mm. Use a glass to cut out circles, use a round cutter with a smaller diameter to make a rim, pressing lightly into the dough, and use a cocktail straw to make holes. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place the cookies on it.
Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes.
