Croissants with jam according to grandmother's recipe

For the croissants:
-3 tbsp sugar
-200 g butter
-2 yolks
-2 tbsp sour cream
-300-350 g flour
-200-250 g thick jam
-Powdered sugar for decoration

Gently melt the butter by placing the container with butter in another container with hot water for a few minutes. Then add sugar, yolks, sour cream and mix. Gradually adding flour, knead the dough. Divide the dough into 3 parts and place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Roll each part into a circle with a diameter of about 30 cm and a thickness of 2-3 mm. Cut the circle into 8 sectors, or 12 sectors for smaller croissants. Make a cut on the wide side of each piece, spread jam on it, and roll it up. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease with butter, place the croissants on it, and put in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Sprinkle the finished croissants with powdered sugar. Bon appétit!
