Sour cream muffins with apples are very tasty and soft. The muffins
turn out tall and fluffy. To make the dense sour cream dough softer, a juicy apple has been added.
You can use any berries instead of apples.
For decoration, I used a delicate creamy glaze and culinary sprinkles.
To prepare
sour cream muffins with apples, you will need:
200 g
of sour cream;
3 eggs;
250 g of flour;
150 g of sugar;
1 tsp
of baking powder;
1 tsp of vanilla sugar;
1 large apple (or 2 small ones).
For the creamy glaze:
100 ml
of 20% cream;
100 g of sugar;
0.5 tsp
of vanilla sugar;
20 g of butter.
Culinary sprinkles for decoration.
From the indicated amount of ingredients, you will get 10
small muffins.
Beat the eggs
with sugar and vanilla sugar.
Add the sour cream and beat again.
Sift in the flour with the baking powder, mix until smooth,
so there are no lumps.
Grate the
apple and add it to the dough, mix well.
Distribute the dough into baking molds, filling them 2/3
full. Place in a preheated oven at 190 degrees and bake for 25 minutes.
Check the readiness of the muffins with a wooden skewer.
Remove the
finished sour cream muffins with apples from the oven and let them cool.
Prepare the creamy glaze. To
do this, combine the cream, sugar, and vanilla sugar, bring to a boil, reduce the
heat, and cook, stirring constantly, for 20 minutes.
Then
remove from heat, add the butter, and stir until the butter is completely dissolved.
Transfer to another
container to stop the cooking process. Let it cool to a warm state.
Spread the creamy glaze on the
muffins and decorate with culinary sprinkles. Tasty sour cream muffins with apples
are ready.
