Cheese pancakes — one of the simplest options for breakfast or dinner. Sweet hearty pancakes seem to need no addition, except for sour cream or homemade jam. But if you bake them in cream sauce, they turn into a very delicious exquisite dessert! It's very convenient to fry the cheese pancakes in the evening, and in the morning pour the sauce over and bake them to get a tasty hot breakfast. You can add raisins, dried apricots, or dates to the cheese pancake dough, then you should slightly reduce the amount of sugar.

Ingredients:

  • Cottage cheese 300 g 
  • Sugar 2 tbsp 
  • Egg 1 pc. 
  • Semolina 2 tbsp 
  • Salt 1 pinch 
  • Vanillin 1 pinch 
  • Wheat flour 2 tbsp 
  • Poppy seeds 1 tbsp 
  • Cream 100 ml 
  • Sugar 1 tbsp.
  • Preparation:

    1. Mix all the ingredients for the dough, except for the poppy seeds, cream, and 1 tbsp of sugar. Let the semolina swell slightly, form the cheese pancakes, and fry them on both sides. 
    2. For the sauce, mix the remaining ingredients; you can add vanilla, cinnamon, or nutmeg. Place the cheese pancakes in a baking dish or pots and pour the sauce over them. 
    3. Bake for about 10 minutes at 170 degrees.
