Girls complained that after row 6 the yoke did not lay in a circle. Everything was fine for me. But if this happened, then try in row 7 to use five chains, instead of 4

Yarn preferably Soso, Anna Twist and similar in length (220-260 m. in 50 grams)

For the yoke, cast on 114 ch. you should have 37 picots. Knit rows 1 to 15 back and forth, i.e. with turning rows. There will be a fastener at the back. Therefore, in row 7, the knitting starts with half a diamond, i.e. with one stitch and also ends in this row. Further according to the diagram.
when knitting in the round, go st. in ch. of the previous row to 1dc and make 3 ch. for lifting. each row will start with 3 ch. for lifting
this number of stitches should be enough for the neck size for girls from one to three, three and a half years old. The length and width of the yoke can be increased or decreased by not knitting rows 19-20 or knitting analogously to the 19-20th row another 21-22 and so on rows
There should be 12 diamonds in the yoke.

For older girls, cast on 130 ch. there should be 14 diamonds in the yoke

After connecting the back and front and forming the sleeve, I got 58 arches of ch. (row 21 of the diagram).
In row 22 there are a total of 238 stitches, which will result in 17 ears (17x14 stitches of the diagram repeat = 238) Those who knit more stitches (14 diamonds) will have to calculate how many stitches they will have in row 22.

The yoke can be reduced in row 23 by knitting every eighth ch. over 2 dc of the previous row. Then there will be 16 ears (224 p.). I knitted this way, I have 16

Regarding the hat, here are some comments: it will fit sizes up to 50 cm. So the diagram is small and the depth of the hat is not large, it needs to be knitted more, it depends on how one decides. My brims are different, but these also look good. If you prefer mine, I will draw the diagram.
