This is Tatiana's work related to sales. Elena Avercheva selected patterns and created descriptions of the designs at the request of the workers, for which she deserves a HUGE thank you.
"Butterflies made from braids - this is two braids placed side by side and crossed in different directions.
The width of the "butterfly" can vary, but the knitting principle is the same for all "butterflies."
Here is an example of a fairly wide butterfly made from 20 stitches:
Pattern scheme:
The scheme indicates both knit and purl rows. Knit (odd rows) are read from right to left, purl (even rows) are read from left to right.
The width of the braid is 20 stitches. In height, we repeat rows 1 to 12. The number of rows in the scheme can be increased in height, depending on the required pattern.
In the classic version, if we braid 5X5, then between braidings we knit 10 rows in height (including knit and purl rows)
In this model shown below, the number of rows in the scheme needs to be increased to 16 rows in height. We see that it is more elongated vertically, but here you can fantasize as much as you want!!!!!
Legend for the scheme:
knit (knit in knit rows, purl in purl rows)
10 stitches cross to the left (5 stitches to place on the auxiliary needle and leave in front of the work, knit the next 5 stitches knitwise, then knit the 5 stitches from the auxiliary needle knitwise)
10 stitches cross to the right (5 stitches to place on the auxiliary needle and leave behind the work, knit the next 5 stitches knitwise, then knit the 5 stitches from the auxiliary needle knitwise)
Smaller butterflies are knitted similarly. For example, a butterfly made of 16 stitches:
And even smaller, made from 12 stitches:
In these braids, you can also increase or decrease the number of rows between braidings!!!!
