Knitted Slippers - Leo Master - Elena Chepikova

Slippers are a great gift for family and loved ones. They are knitted quickly and easily. They are light and silent to wear.

 

 

 

Materials: dark yellow yarn of thickness 2.7 – 3 mm, orange and black yarn of type “Astra”, 4 black beads.

 

The slippers are knitted with size 5 needles and size 1.75 hook.

 

Size of slippers 39-42.

 

TIP: IF YOU WANT TO KNIT SLIPPERS OF SMALLER SIZE, USE THINNER YARN AND SMALLER NEEDLES.

 

Master class:

 

1. Slippers – base

 

Needles.

 

Cast on 34 stitches with dark yellow yarn.

 

Row 1: 1 edge, 32 knit, 1 edge

 

Row 2: 1 edge, 10 knit, 1 purl, 10 knit, 1 purl, 10 knit, 1 edge

 

Rows 3 – 34:

 

odd rows = as row 1

even rows = as row 2

Row 35: 1 edge, 11 knit, 1 increase (knit two from one stitch), 8 knit, 1 increase, 11 knit, 1 edge

 

Row 36: 1 edge, 10 knit, 1 purl, 12 knit, 1 purl, 10 knit, 1 edge

 

Row 37: 1 edge, 34 knit, 1 edge

 

Rows 38 – 56:

 

even rows = as row 36

odd rows = as row 37

Row 57: 1 edge, 10 extended stitches, 14 knit, 10 extended stitches, 1 edge

 

Row 58: 1 edge, 10 knit, 1 purl, 12 knit, 1 purl, 10 knit, 1 edge

 

Rows 59 – 63:

 

odd rows = as row 57

even rows = as row 58

Rows 64 – 72: rib 1 knit – 1 purl

 

Do not bind off stitches, leave a long thread.

2. Slippers – assembly

 

Toe

 

Pull the remaining thread through the stitches of the last row. Tighten the thread, secure it. Then sew the part knitted with ribbing and about 8 more rows.

Heel

 

Thread through the middle part (A) and tighten it. Sew the adjacent parts B together.

Crochet around the top of the slippers with a “crab stitch”.

3. Muzzle

 

a) eyes (4 pcs). Hook size 1.75. Orange yarn “Astra” (or similar). Make a chain of 3 air stitches and close it into a ring. Crochet in a circle 2 single crochet in each stitch until you reach the desired size. Then crochet around with black yarn *single crochet, 2 single crochet in one stitch*.

 

Sew black beads onto the orange center. Sew the eyes onto the slippers.

 

b) nose and mouth. Embroider with black thread.

4. Tail (2 pcs)

 

Hook size 1.75. Orange yarn “Astra”. Make a chain of 40 air stitches. Crochet 39 single crochet along the chain. At the end of the tail, crochet a tassel with black yarn: 3 stitches for rise, 2 double crochets, a triple crochet, air stitch.

 

Sew the tails to the side of the slippers.

For more warmth and wearability, felt insoles can be sewn onto the sole.
