Booties

Booties-shoes knitted by kudepihha for her grandson aged 6-9 months according to MK olgaaglo.

I can't say anything about the yarn - I knitted from very old leftovers.
Needle size 3.

Knit the sole in garter stitch - 50 rows.
I knitted a shaped sole, starting with 4 stitches (+ edge stitches), ending with 8 stitches:

Cast on 60 stitches at the edges and knit 6 more rows in stockinette stitch:

Make a hem, picking up the stitches from the first row:

Divide the knitting for the toe and heel (the number of stitches must be odd: 31+29), knit 31 stitches for the toe with pink yarn.

At the edges, add an extra stitch on the needles, which will become the edge stitch during separate multicolored knitting:

Knit 11 rows in English rib.

In the 12th (right-side) row, knit 8 stitches, then make 8 decreases by knitting the knit stitch together with the purl stitch.

Turn the knitting and knit in garter stitch, at the end of each row knit 2 together with the side of the toe:

 

Continue knitting with gray yarn for the casing 9-10 rows in reverse stockinette stitch.

Fold and pick up the stitches from the first gray row. Close the stitches:





The toe is ready.
Next, knit the heel - 29 stitches with white yarn.

Don’t forget to add edge stitches on the sides.

Knit:
11 stitches in garter stitch on the sides and 7 stitches in English rib on the heel itself.

After 12 rows, switch to gray yarn for the casing - 10 rows in reverse stockinette stitch.

Fold the casing and close the stitches:

Sew the toe and heel together, thread the lace (the lace goes through the casing of the heel 2 times):

Booties-shoes are ready!
