Booties "Zephyrki" - it's easier than easy! Bright and beautiful booties for babies are knitted by hand. You will need size 3 needles. Wool or half-wool yarn, 1 skein of 100 g. The length of the thread is 250 meters. A little thinner yarn for stripes and pompom. Cast on 24 stitches and knit 24 rows in garter stitch (knit every row). Then, from the right side, bind off the first 8 stitches and continue working only on 16 stitches. Here you need to alternate the pattern: 4 rows of stockinette stitch (white yarn), then 4 rows of garter stitch (gray yarn). VERY IMPORTANT! When changing yarn, the first stitch of the row must be knitted as a knit stitch. Alternating stripes: 6 times white and 5 times - gray stripe. Then, using the ordinary method of casting on stitches, add the missing 8 stitches to the fabric and continue working with a single color yarn - 24 rows, just as you did at the very beginning. Bind off the stitches, fold the item as shown in the photo and sew it up at the back until the start of the stripes. Gather the stripes at the top and bottom onto a spare thread through the edge stitches and carefully pull them together in the shape of a fan. All that's left is to sew in a cute pompom and our wonderful booties are ready!
