Square 10 cm of ribbing 2x2, needles #4 = 22 sts and 29 rows.



15 sts of fancy pattern (diamond in a frame of 2 purl sts) = 6 cm



IMPLEMENTATION:



Cast on 13 sts with yarn ILIADE, needles #4, knit fancy pattern (see corresponding diagrams).



Knit the first ear increasing on each side 4 rows above: 1 time 1 st., 2 rows above: 1 time 1 st., every 4 rows: 3 times 1 st.



At a height of 20 rows, we get 23 sts.



Leave the stitches on hold, knit the other ear.



Cast on: a) 6 sts – b) 8 sts – c) 10 sts, take the stitches of the first ear, add a) 14 sts – b) 18 sts – c) 22 sts, take the stitches of the second ear, add a) 6 sts – b) 8 sts – c) 10 sts.



We get: a) 72 sts – b) 80 sts – c) 88 sts. Continue according to the diagram.



a) 60 rows – b) 66 rows – c) 72 rows, diagrams completed, remaining: a) 16 sts – b) 17 sts – c) 20 sts.



a) Knit stitches 2 by 2



b) Knit 1 st., then 2 by 2



c) Knit stitches 2 by 2



Remaining: a) 8 sts – b) 9 sts – c) 10 sts.



Pass the yarn through the stitches and pull tight.



Model #10: cast on: a) 31 sts – b) 35 sts – c) 39 sts, yarn ILIADE, knit ribbing 1x1 starting and ending the 1st row and all odd rows with 2 knit sts, height 4.5 cm, then bind off.



Model #31: cast on 10 sts, yarn PHIL DOUCE, needles #4. Knit stockinette stitch height 8.5 cm, then bind off. Knit the second ear the same.



ASSEMBLY:



Sew the hat with an invisible stitch. Around the ears, fold 2 sts or 2 rows inward and secure with a hidden stitch using sewing thread.
