A festive warm bonnet for a girl knitted with needles

Many beginners rush to master complex patterns. However, they forget that interesting effects can be achieved using the simplest techniques. For example, to knit this bonnet, it is enough to use a simple pearl pattern and knit it on circular needles, changing the yarn color in the sequence: three rows of the main color and one row of the additional color.

Knitting technique: stockinette stitch, ribbing 1x1, pearl pattern according to the chart: this is the "Bumps" pattern).

Knitting density: loose.
We knit the elements

On circular needles, cast on 91 stitches with white yarn. Knit 10 rows in ribbing 1x1. Then knit in the pearl pattern, with three rows in pink yarn and one row in white. To change the color next time, shift the knitting to the side where the yarn of the needed color is located. After 36 rows, we will start knitting the back part of the bonnet. We knit it with white yarn as follows: mark 30 stitches on the right side and 30 stitches on the left with markers. For the back part, leave 31 stitches, marking the 16th stitch with a marker as well.

Knit in stockinette stitch, decreasing two stitches before the center and two after. Knit the 61st and 62nd stitches together, turn the work and knit the same way until all stitches of the side parts have been knitted, and the stitches of the central part equal three.

Assembly and finishing of the product

Along the bottom part of the bonnet, pick up stitches with white yarn, knit 10 rows in ribbing 1x1. Then, on the sides of the lower band, cast on five stitches each and knit ties in ribbing 1x1, each 20 cm long.
